Key responsibilities:
 
Conduct defined tasks including but not limited to magnetic, thermal and structural design, safety analysis and FEA for new products from inception.
Perform project budget plans, schedules and implementation planning for new platform development projects
Review of customer requirements and generation of compliances matrices to specifications and S.O.W.’s
Technical oversight on all legacy and new projects.
Conduct defined tasks including but not limited to Design and documentation to improve process understanding and quality improvement, using commonly used concepts, practices, and engineering methodologies.
Recommend new manufacturing processes and procedural development for new technologies introduced.
Recommendation of new technologies to improve manufacturing efficiency, hardware performance and safety
Evaluate legacy systems and processes and recommend improvements
Requirements
 
Qualifications and Skills:                                                                                                                                         
A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or 10 years’ of relevant experience.
Minimum 10 years’ experience in areas of electro-mechanical or manufacturing engineering.
Excellent problem solving skills. Strong independent decision making and analytical abilities to make on the spot decisions.
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
Must exhibit a curious, positive, team-oriented, enthusiastic approach.
A great work ethic and willingness to ethically do what needs to be done.
Position may require up to 10% travel to customers and suppliers.

Bottom Line Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or 10 years’ of relevant experience.
