Restoration Project Manager
Roles and Responsibilities
Maintain preparedness for dispatch in accordance with company policy
o Ensure readiness of personal items and “go bag” for rapid deployment
o Ensure vehicles, equipment, and supplies are properly stocked, fueled, and maintained for immediate deployment
Assist management in inspecting potential losses and developing a scope of service
Assist in managing staff of restoration supervisors, equipment, and resources
Project Specific – may also be in addition to and include Restoration Supervisor and/or Assistant Project Manager responsibilities depending on specific project size and scope.
May lead projects with a staff of multiple Restoration Supervisors, support staff, and General Labor staff.
1. Project Dispatch
• Book and document travel arrangements in accordance with company policy
• Communicate travel progress and ETA with management and customer representatives
• Manage project mobilization process
2. Daily Organization and Preparation
• Review daily production assignments with staff
• Review goals, progress, and requirements with on-site customer representative(s)
• Prepare for morning meeting with APM and/or staff including written assignments, instructions and goals
• Communicate daily assignments, goals, documentation, and expectations with staff including jobsite walkthrough with APM and/or Restoration Supervisors
• Supervise daily morning lineup
3. Jobsite Management
• Supervise jobsite staff
• Ensure strict adherence to company appearance and uniform standards
• Maintain open line of communication with SPM, and/or PD
• Ensure adherence to company and industry standards for production and safety by on-site personnel
• Document work processes through photographs and detailed job journal notes
4. Report Project Progress
• Report progress to management and customer’s representative
• Report any deficiencies, accidents, or injuries to management
• Document project progress in project tracking software
5. Manage Daily Wrap-Up
• Ensure adherence to SOP for end-of-shift procedures
• Review daily staff paperwork for completeness and accuracy
• Submit daily reports in a neat, orderly, and timely manner
6. Manage Project Wrap-Up
• Manage proper demobilization of vehicles, tools, and equipment
• Review and verify equipment and supply inventories with staff
• Complete all final project paperwork and documentation including uploading into project management software
• Verify proper preparedness of equipment, tools, and supplies for redeployment
•           This is a heavy travel position, >50%.
•           24/7/365 availability
•           Must possess an extreme sense of urgency, resourcefulness, and integrity
•           Able to pass a criminal background check, MVR check, and pre-employment drug screening

Bottom Line Requirements:

1. Commercial or combination Commercial and Residential Disaster Restoration experience as a crew chief, superintendent, or project manager including structural drying and disaster response. 
2. IICRC WRT (Water Restoration Technician) certification.
3. Mold certification.
4. IICRC ASD (Applied Structural Drying) certification a plus.
