Job description:

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
Manage the Civil Engineering department including project workload, staffing and continuous performance management
Market/Manage current and new clients
Assist in developing marketing and business strategies
Oversee, coordinate, and perform quality control on projects with civil engineering team
Assist with design fee proposals and marketing proposals
Manage, lead, and perform design efforts on land development projects
Some travel required
 
 
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
 
Civil Engineering graduate
Higher Education (preferred)
15+ years practical experience as a Professional Civil Engineer (PE), prior employee management experience preferred
Experience in Land Development is preferred
Experience as Project Manager
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
LEED certified (preferred)
 
Qualifications
 
Bachelors or better in Civil Engineering.
15 years: Practical Experience as a Professional Civil Engineer
 
Preferred
 
15 years: Employee Management Experience
 
Licenses & Certifications
Required
 
Professional Engineer

Bottom Line Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
2. 15+ years of Practical Experience as a Professional Civil Engineer in consulting engineering including recent management experience.
3. PE.
