Job description:

Performs a variety of deburring and finishing activities to support the manufacture of medical devices. Typical processes include: bead blasting, pedestal mounted abrasive wheels, tumbling, belt sanding, heat treating, clean and passivation, laser marking and visual inspection of high precision machined parts and components.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
 
 Demonstrates the ability to perform all activities in finishing department, including but not limited to, Bead blast, Tumbler, Deburr, Heat Treat, Passivation and Laser Marking/Etching.
 Detects and reports discrepancies or questionable conditions to the department lead.
 Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
 Responsible for assuring that assigned activities are performed in accordance with Quality System procedures.
Education and Experience:
 High school diploma or GED required
 
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
 
 Experience required in shop math, tooling technology, blueprint reading, measurement of parts.
 Demonstrated high level of mechanical hand/eye coordination.
 Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to contribute to a team oriented environment.
