Job description:

The Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) is a professional state licensed position within the hospital clinical laboratory.  A CLS is expected to maintain the highest degree of confidentiality in all areas involving patients and their related hospital business.  Conducts hospital business in an ethical and lawful manner, and is willing to report any knowledge of real or potential fraud or abuse according to the Compliance Code of Conduct.  Abides by all Personnel and Payroll Policies and Procedures.  Abides by Departmental Policies and Procedures, and standards of performance and conduct.   
 
Qualifications:
 
Required
•            Bachelor’s degree.
•            Valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license.
•            Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist
•            Must demonstrate a strong attention to details and work with minimal supervision.
•            Good organizational skills.
•            Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with other team members and departments.
•            Conduct, appearance and work performance shall be of professional quality.
